Church programs

This is the core of the great commission as was given by our Lord Jesus Christ. We have intentionally embedded discipleship programs in our weekly church schedules. We have therefore created multiple platforms for discipleship programs targeting both church and non - church members. The major ones being the weekly Sunday morning discipleship , Wednesday home fellowship and Thursday bible study in town.

Our Country's population average age is quickly becoming younger and younger, with over 75% of our population being those under 30 years old. We have programs that seek to reach out to , disciple and empower the young men and women , ensuring that they are thoroughly empowered to live out godly lives that also impacts on their peers . This is core in Worship Tabernacle Church and we do this without compromising godly standards. Every second Sunday afternoon of the month, we hold special ‘formation’ mentorship forums for the singles

We value strong and functional families knowing that they are units of Godly influence. Strong and Godly love relationships between the singles who intend to get married is our goal too. We have programs that ensure all those in dating relationships are mentored, discipled and guided through foundational issues that form strong marriages and families. This has also become an outreach program for us. We hold a relating peoples forum every last Sunday afternoon of the month.

The church has specific programs that continuously enrich the married people .Our current couples programs target the younger couples of below 45 year olds. We are intentional on this. We have an ongoing weekly and monthly program for couples.

Large parts of our youthful population are found in high schools and colleges. That is where influence can be exerted, so we also have programs that reach out and empower them. This is usually done through partnerships with the Christian unions and other para- church organizations that have similar interests.

Giving the young people constant opportunities to relate to and engage those ahead of them through ongoing mentorship programs has been a key instrument in impacting their lives. We have an active ongoing mentorship programs that attaches groups of students to particular families.

Specific gender based empowerments are done through the men and ladies forums. We have an active fellowship of these two main groups too. Accountability and mentorship groups are also formed and organized around these. We have an ongoing weekly program targeting these two groups but running parallel.

Being a church fellowship that values and appreciates the importance of families, we are actively engaged in children's programs. We target those children from parents within our church and those from outside our church and within our community.

Knowing the importance of parenting and the key challenges that affect our modern parenting, the church has programs that empower the parents with godly parenting skills. This is done within the couple’s ministry.

We intentionally plan and engage in outreach and mission programs periodically. We always do this in partnerships with other Christian organizations and student bodies. We plan for, mobilize for and execute missions. We also support workers in the mission fields.
